The B.C. Lions liked what they saw from afar from Woody Baron in 2021. They still liked what they saw from the defensive lineman in a small sample size in 2022.
It was enticing enough that the Leos signed the Chicago native to a contract extension this week, keeping him with the team through the 2024 season. He was due to be a free agent in 2023.
