The Vancouver Giants and Kelowna Rockets split their back-to-back head-to-head weekends.
The Rockets beat the Giants 5-1 Saturday in Kelowna to close out the teams’ scheduling oddity of consecutive doubleheaders and end up even in those four games. Vancouver won 3-1 on Friday at the Langley Events Centre.
Last weekend, it was the Giants recording a 4-3 win in Kelowna after the Rockets had beaten them 4-1 the night before at the LEC.
It was four straight games for Vancouver. The Rockets had a 5-1 loss to the Victoria Royals sandwiched in between the Vancouver meetings.
