Former Vancouver Canuck Jake Virtanen has signed a two-year deal with EHC Visp Sport AG in Switzerland.
According to a statement from the club, Virtanen is using his opportunity in the second-tier league to “relaunch his career.”
It said that Virtanen, 26, had spent most of his professional career in the NHL, which included a “trip to the KHL with Spartak Moscow last season.”
