The B.C. Lions added a little more Canadian bacon to their defensive front five on Tuesday, drafting Southern Utah defensive lineman Francis Bemiy.
Already with two solid Canadian DL’s in David Menard and Mathieu Betts, the Montreal native brings size and length to the defensive front.
At 6-foot-3, 257-pounds, the 24-year-old had 163 total tackles — 38 1/2 tackles of them for a loss — with 13 sacks, three forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries in 49 games.
