The Canucks have signed defenceman Akito Hirose to a two-year contract.
Hirose, who played in the Canucks last seven regular-season games, will be on a two-way contract for the 2023-2024 season and a one-way contract for 2024-2025.
“Akito was a welcome addition to our group at the end of last season and we’re excited to have him back with the organization for two more years,” Canucks general manager Patrik Allvin said in a statement.
