Canucks: Mystery of Tanner Pearson's surgery setbacks remains unwrapped

This much we know for sure about the injured Tanner Pearson.

The Vancouver Canucks’ left-winger has had two setbacks from three procedures to repair a hand injury suffered Nov. 9 in Montreal. The prognosis for recovery has gone from four to six weeks to his season being over and uncertainly from there.

What we don’t know is what happened with those surgeries and what problems may have arose in rehabilitation because of privacy issues afforded the player.

“We’ve done a thorough review of comments (Quinn Hughes) that came out last week and the most important thing is Tanner’s health,” Canucks president of hockey operations Jim Rutherford
