The Vancouver Canucks have made a shuffle on their depth lines.
The NHL team sent Nils Aman, the Swedish centre signed in the summer, to AHL Abbotsford on Friday and recalled energy winger Will Lockwood to take his place.
Aman was expected to be a key figure for the AHL Canucks, with the expectation that if things went well, he’d see some NHL time during the season. But he surprised everyone with a strong training camp and made the Vancouver roster to open the season.
