One of the newest Vancouver Canucks has skated back his request to wear his favourite jersey number after learning it was worn by Luc Bourdon.
Defenceman Ian Cole asked to wear No. 28 after signing with the Canucks on Canada Day. It’s the number he’s worn throughout his hockey life so he thought the request was routine.
