The NHL season still has two months to play, but there’s not much to play for if you’re the Vancouver Canucks or Philadelphia Flyers.
These two teams have no hope to make the playoffs and instead their management teams are thinking about this summer’s draft.
The players may show up to play, and hopefully try to win, but the managers now know their jobs is to find ways to dress weaker and weaker lineups, giving their teams less and less of a chance to win.
It’s all very inspiring.
