Filip Hronek’s 2022-23 Vancouver Canucks season seems set to go down as a mere cameo.
The defenceman was dealing with a shoulder injury when the Canucks traded for him March 1 and he didn’t make his Vancouver debut until March 23.
Friday, Canucks head coach Rick Tocchet said Hronek’s season is likely over. Hronek played in four games for the Canucks.
Tocchet said that Hronek hadn’t suffered a setback, but implied that Hronek is still lacking strength.
If this were the playoffs, Hronek would be in the lineup, Tocchet said.
