He’s not a Vancouver Canuck anymore, but Bo Horvat is still an All-Star.
The NHL has confirmed that the former Canucks captain will participate this weekend in South Florida at the NHL’s annual gathering of stars for the 2023 All-Star Weekend.
And even though he’s now a New York Islander, a team that plays in the NHL’s Metropolitan division, he’s going to play for the Pacific division All-Star team, meaning he’ll get to be Elias Pettersson’s teammate one last time.
Gary Meagher, the NHL’s senior executive vice-president of communications, confirmed Horvat’s status as a Pacific Division All-Star in an email on Thursday morning.
