B.C. Lions coach Rick Campbell said after practice on Monday that Dane Evans will start Thursday at quarterback in Winnipeg against Blue Bombers but Vernon Adams, Jr. (knee) could be back in the mix after that.
Adams, 30, who was named B.C.’s starter at pivot in the off-season when Nathan Rourke jumped to the NFL, had to leave the 19-9 win over the Saskatchewan Roughriders on July 22 after getting sacked in the first quarter.
