A woman shot at officers as they responded to a welfare check at a home on Valley Avenue Northeast on Monday night.
After the woman fire multiple shots toward officers, Puyallup Police say officers returned fire. The suspect was struck and injured, and officers took her into custody. She was taken to a local hospital.
No officers were injured in the shooting.
The officers initially came to the home because they been asked to check on the woman’s husband. His parents had reported that they had not heard from their son since the day before. The man, in his early
