While many counties across the state experienced an uptick in youth suicide during remote learning at the start of the pandemic, one county that typically sees more than most got a pleasant surprise.
“August of 2019 to August of 2020, we actually had zero youth suicide,” said the Snohomish County Health District’s Wendy Burchill.
