Representing the culmination of millions of hours of labor, the renovation of the North Satellite location at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport has concluded.
Built in 1973, the North terminal has finished the last phase in its remodel. Additions include expansion to 20 gates, 255,000 in added square footage, and tripled dining and retail space (new restaurants are expected this summer, including Tundra Taqueria, SEA Roast Coffee House, Pike & Pine, and Filson).
The remodel boasts retextured surfaces and new Pacific Northwest themed artwork, expanded viewing of the Olympic Mountains and added natural light, robust Wi-Fi, and a litany of creature comforts including private suites for travelling mothers.
