The House of Representatives last night voted to set up a commission investigate the January 6 assault on the Capitol. Thirty-five Republicans joined the Democrats in voting yes.
But the bill needs 60 votes to pass the Senate, and now that Mitch McConnell is advising Republican members to vote against it, that’ll be tough.
