Puget Sound area heading into second La Niña winter in a row

It looks like the Puget Sound will have its second La Niña in a row this winter.

“That’s not uncommon at all,” Nick Bond, Washington state’s climatologist, told KIRO Radio. “In fact, about two-thirds of La Niñas are kind of in back-to-back fashion.”

This means that in Seattle, expect to probably see wetter, cooler temperatures for the next few months, but then things will be a bit drier and warmer January through March.
