The number of positive COVID-19 cases in King County is beginning to fall after a fourth wave began in March.
As of May 4, there were 5,029 positive cases — or 4.4% of all test results — across the county over the previous 14 days. On May 2, there were 351 positive cases. While these numbers remain higher than both the spring and summer 2020 peaks, they are lower than the wave seen last winter.
In the Snoqualmie Valley, cases over the last two weeks have remained low in North Bend, Carnation and Fall City. In Fall City, there were no new cases over the last 14 days. For
