SPOKANE, Wash — The Gonzaga Women’s Basketball team will travel abroad in August for a foreign tour and to play three European teams in scrimmages.
The team will spend nearly two weeks abroad as part of the second foreign tour in program history. The National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) allows institutions to participate in a foreign tour once every four years.
The Bulldogs will enjoy multi-day stays in Athens, Greece, Dubrovnik and Split in Croatia and Montenegro.
The team will depart from Spokane on Sunday, Aug. 13, and will return stateside on Friday, Aug. 25, with stops in Croatia and Greece along the way.
