$56,000 for a piece of real estate in Seattle sounds pretty affordable these days. But, as KIRO Newsradio’s Lisa Brooks reports, that price isn’t for a house or a condo.
According to Redfin, somebody shelled out $56,000 for a parking spot. Yes, you read that right, a parking spot.
Granted, it isn’t just any parking spot. It’s located in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood, within walking distance to landmarks such as Pike Place Market, Seattle Center, and the Olympic Sculpture Park. The listing says it’s large and flat (Editor’s Note: We would hope so!) and easily fits a full-sized sedan, SUV or truck.
