Out-of-control Democrat spending created the worst inflation crisis we’ve seen in 40 years. And Democrats voted to continue that bad habit. But in the eyes of Seattle Progressive Rep. Pramila Jayapal, inflation is “theoretical” so perhaps we shouldn’t worry.
Jayapal voted for President Joe Biden’s dubiously-titled Inflation Reduction Act. As even CNN anchors point out, the bill does not reduce inflation. Instead, it’s a massive spending bill that aims to address climate change and healthcare.
Defending the bill from criticisms that it does nothing to drive down costs in measurable ways that the American people will feel, Jayapal argues that “‘inflation’ is like a theoretical word that economists use.”
