The Washington chapter of Americans for Prosperity has rolled back the price of gas to $3.82, the national average for a gallon of gas, at a Kent gas station. The event will go on for two hours Wednesday morning.
This is a response to the state having the highest average gas prices in the country for the first time in history. The average price of a gallon of gas in the state of Washington is $5.06, according to AAA data. In King County, it jumps to $5.27.
