Climbing Gyms Edgeworks Climbing and Fitness
The gym formally known as Stone Gardens has been a Ballard mainstay since the 1990s, its unique outdoor wall jutting over the Burke-Gilman Trail toward the Ballard Locks (for when you want to climb with a public audience). Though it had added a Bellevue location and the owners were scouting a third before Covid hit, both Stone Gardens operations were sold to Tacoma’s Edgeworks Climbing and Fitness in 2020. Staff swear that nothing has changed at the gyms, just expanded access to its new partner down south.
