This is a city of books. A city that turned a local librarian into a national celebrity. A city where there’s readings every night and somebody you know is definitely working on a book. That’s a good thing. Because a lot of those books are really spectacular. This list, published in its original form in 2021, is not comprehensive. Rather it’s a celebration of Seattle-ish writers and Seattle-ish settings across genres.
