2 teens wounded in south Seattle shooting

Two teenagers were injured Tuesday evening in a South Seattle shooting.

Police say the double shooting occurred just before 7 p.m. near Rainier Avenue South and South Hanford Street.

Officers were at the scene investigating a car crash when they heard gunshots. They searched the area and found a 19-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds.

According to the Seattle Fire Department, the woman was shot in the head and arm. The man was shot in the arm and leg.
