Tanking isn’t ideal. It isn’t what any fan base or players want. There could actually be a conversation over how it’s actually executed and whether or not it’s real. No player in the NBA wakes up in the morning and says, “Today, I want to purposely lose a basketball game.”
But management and coaches have their ways. They have strategies to manipulate lineups and rosters. They have plays that are clearly not a good idea to run against certain teams.
