Where to Eat and Drink on Portland’s Alberta Street

Northeast Alberta, historically, was one of Portland’s more diverse neighborhoods. Today, it looks drastically different from how it did just a few decades ago: As the “Alberta Arts District” developed, housing prices soared, changing the foundation of the neighborhood. Now, only a fraction of Portland residents on Northeast Alberta are people of color, shrinking exponentially as the area continues to develop.
