Glencoe Road:A kickoff event and open house today mark the beginning of construction on the new Glencoe Road interchange over U.S. 26. Residents can learn more about the project from 5 to 7 p.m. in North Plains.

Sherwood:In three days, equestrian Rich Fellers and his Irish Sporthorse, Flexible, will begin their journey to their first Olympic Games, Rachel Stark reports. Fellers lives in Sherwood and trains in Wilsonville.

Beaverton:With a 4-0 win over Lake Oswego, the Murrayhill Little League Majors (ages 11-12) advances to the Oregon State Tournament that starts Saturday. The Beaverton Valley Times reports from last weekend’s district championship.
