CJ McCollum Buys More than 300 Acres in the Willamette Valley for a Vineyard
Trail Blazer CJ McCollum has become something of a name in the local wine world: McCollum has released his own pinot noir, chardonnay, and rosé in 2020 and 2021 under his label, McCollum Heritage 91. However, he’s about to level up: McCollum just purchased a 318-acre property in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA, which he plans to develop into a vineyard. McCollum, in conjunction with other Willamette Valley wine professionals, will begin laying out the vineyard in 2022, and will continue to produce McCollum Heritage 91 wine at Adelsheim Vineyard.
