For the first time in his professional career, Russell Wilson will miss a game. After suffering a mallet finger – a ruptured tendon within a finger joint – on his throwing hand during Thursday’s 26-17 loss to the Rams, Wilson’s streak of 149 consecutive starts will come to an end in Week 6. The seven-time Pro Bowler will reportedly miss 6-8 weeks, but Wilson hopes to miss no more than four. Regardless, this is a huge blow to a Seattle team already struggling to find consistency at 2-3. Wilson’s passer rating of 125.3 is currently leading the league.
