Last month, Major League Soccer unveiled “The Archive Collection,” a collaborative effort with Adidas featuring a nostalgic array of jerseys, jackets, and Gazelle shoes inspired by the history of five clubs. One of those teams is the Portland Timbers, who honored club legend Clive Charles and his impact on the game with “The Clive Kit.” It is the third time the Timbers have had a third kit and the first new one since 2015.
