The Detroit Red Wings have signed 2020 second-round selection Cross Hanas this week. On the season, Hanas leads the Winterhawks with 71 points scoring 22 goals and 49 assists coming in 53 games. Hanas joins former Hawks players Dennis Cholowski and Dominic Turgeon, who have signed with Detroit during the regular season.
Detroit has the option of returning him to Junior in that he will have one year of eligibility should they choose that direction.
