For today’s Portland weather, the National Weather Service is forecasting rain and temperatures in the low fifties.
There is a 30 percent chance of showers in today’s forecast, with a south and southwest wind from eight to 13 mph and gusts as high as 18 mph. Today’s high is 53 degrees.
More rain is on the docket for tonight, with a 40 percent chance of showers before 4 p.m. Expect patchy fog after 10 p.m. and a low of 47 degrees. South winds of five to 11 mph are also in the forecast this evening.
Tomorrow, plan for fog in the morning, and rain after 10 a.m., with a high near 52 degrees. The rain should continue Monday night, with a low near 47 degrees. More rain is slated for Tuesday.
Up in the mountains, more than a foot snow fell at Timberline Lodge on Friday and Saturday, with 10 inches on the ground at Mount Hood Meadows and seven at Mount Bachelor as of yesterday morning. There is no new snowfall as of 7:30 a.m. today.
