The tenth-ranked Ducks’ defeat by 38-10 to Utah Utes in the PAC-12 championship final game last week spelt the end of the 2021 NCAAF season and with it the end of the team’s superb success in PAC-12.
After back-to-back championships in the previous two years, the chance to be the first team to make it three in a row was just out of reach as they fell behind early and couldn’t claw it back in the conference title game at Allegiant Stadium.
They should have seen this coming – just two weeks earlier the Ducks saw their College Football Playoff hopes ended by the same opposition in a 38-7
