Oregon and Washington lifting mask rules in health care settings

April 3 marks the next post-pandemic phase as the states loosen mask mandates among doctors, patients and visitors.

PORTLAND, Ore. — Starting Monday, state mask mandates in health care settings, will be a thing of the past in Oregon and Washington.

State health officials announced the impending changes about a month ago as a coordinated effort to end one of the most steadfast regulations of the pandemic.
