Tomorrow evening the League of Women Voters of East Multnomah County will hold a candidates forum introducing east county voters to their city council candidates.
Gresham and Fairview feature competitive races, including three challengers to Gresham City Council incumbent Karylinn Echols and Fairview City Council incumbent Ken Quinby challenging fellow incumbent Barbara Jones for her seat. Three new faces are vying for a Troutdale City Councilseat being vacated by Doug Daoust, who is running for mayor.
The forum at Gresham City Hall, 1333 N.W. Eastman Parkway, starts at 6 p.m. Thursday and will be split into four sessions; the last session, non-competitive Wood Village races, wrap at 9 p.m.

On Thursday the sessions will be:
Session I: City of Fairview
Candidates include: Dan Kreamier, Position 1; Barbara Jones, Position 2 incumbent; Ken Quinby, Position 2 (formerly Position 3 incumbent); Steve Prom, Position 3; Brian Cooper, Position 6 incumbent via appointment; Tamie Tlustos-Arnold, Position 6.
Session II: City of Gresham
Candidates include: Jerry Hinton, Position 1; Mario Palmero, Position 1; Karylinn Echols, Position 3 incumbent; Richard Strathern, Position 3; John Deer, Position 3; John Dillow, Position 3; Paul Warr-King, Position 5 incumbent; Mike McCormick, Position 5.
Session III: City of Troutdale
Candidates include: Eric Anderson, Position 2 incumbent; Glenn White, Position 4 incumbent; John Wilson, Position 6; Zach Hudson, Position 6; Tom Slyter, Position 6.
Session IV: City of Wood Village
Candidates include: Patricia Smith, Position 2 incumbent; Scott Harden, Position 3 incumbent; Tim Clark, Position 5 incumbent.
