PORTLAND, Ore — Clear skies with chilly temperatures near freezing to start, but a day of full sunshine will allow valley temperatures to warm into the upper 50s and possibly 60 degrees. East winds will pick up so it will become breezy near the gorge as gorge winds blow 15-25 with higher gusts to 35 mph.
Friday and Saturday remain mostly sunny to partly cloudy with highs in the low 60s for the first time this year.
Showers return Sunday and some rain is expected each day through much of next week. I don’t see a hefty rain total until Thursday into Friday of next
