A Florida man was rescued from the notorious Devils Churn on the Oregon coast after taking a harrowing fall into the ocean. On Tuesday, 70-year-old Jack Turnock was taking a photo from the south side of Devils Churn when he tripped and fell about 15 feet into the churning waters below. Despite the fall, Turnock managed to swim across to the north side and scramble onto a small ledge, several feet above the waterline, where he awaited rescue.
