A New Richmond Cheese Shop Will Carry 75 Types of Cheese

A new cheese shop called Caseus Diem is slated to open along Division Street in the Richmond area, reports What Now Portland. The name — a play on carpe diem — translates to “cheese the day.” Caseus Diem is targeting a mid-July opening, but an official date hasn’t been announced yet. A liquor license has also been filed but is still being processed by the City of Portland.

The shop will carry over 75 types of cheese, with 12 cheeses available to try as part of a build-your-own cheese board. In addition to cheese, the shop will also carry bread, cured meats, crackers, honey, and more.
