The crafting retailer announced it was closing over 500 of its stores nationwide after filing for bankruptcy.
OREGON, USA — Crafting and fabrics retailer Joann is shuttering hundreds of stores nationwide, including 15 in Oregon and one in southwest Washington.
On Wednesday, the company filed a motion in bankruptcy court, seeking to close around 533 of its 800 locations in the U.S. The initial list includes at least one location from each state, except for Hawaii. This is the second time Joann has declared bankruptcy in less than 12 months.
