Washington Square Mall sees large turnout for Black Friday

Washington Square Mall management said they were going to exceed traffic from last year’s Black Friday by more than 15%.

TIGARD, Ore. — Shoppers flooded Washington Square Mall on Black Friday, searching for the perfect holiday gift — and deals.

“Great turnout! A lot of people out here shopping, getting here early — we’ve been here since 9 a.m.,” a shopper told KGW.

Indeed, early birds were out and about, standing in line for Legos, browsing for bling and admiring the holiday lights, all while taking bites out of their shopping lists.
