SheBrew Festival returns Saturday for 10th year in Portland

What started as a niche event 10 years ago is expected to draw upwards of 1,500 people this weekend, all celebrating beer made by women.

PORTLAND, Ore. — Saturday is International Women’s Day, and for some Portland locals, that will mean raising a glass to celebrate SheBrew, an all-female brewers festival that kicks off this weekend for its 10th year.

The SheBrew Beer Festival celebrates women in the beer and cider industry. Over 50 breweries from across the Pacific Northwest will come together to share beer, ciders and wines — all made by women.
