REI will relocate Eugene store in early 2026

The new Eugene location will be the second-largest in the state, the company said, at over 30,120 square feet.

EUGENE, Ore. — Early next year, REI will relocate its Eugene store to a larger and more central location in the city. 

The Seattle-based business said Wednesday that it will move to the Oakway Center and expand its footwear, cycling and camping departments.

REI regional director’s Bob Cagle said Wednesday that the new Eugene location will be the second largest in the state, after its Beaverton location, which opened in 2024 at Walker Center.
