Portland utility companies preparing for snow, ice with possible power outages

Crews with PGE and Pacific Power have their own team of meteorologists tracking the chance of snow and ice the next two days.

PORTLAND, Ore. — In less than 24 hours, the crystal blue skies we’ve been seeing all week long are going to be replaced by gray and stormy skies. Portland General Electric (PGE) has been watching the forecast for days so they can get crews in place.
