PORTLAND, Ore. — A Portland inventor is suing for patent infringement, claiming the companies behind the recognizable “As Seen On TV” products knocked off her idea.
“It’s like somebody stealing your child,” said inventor Juliette Fassett.
In 2011, Fassett came up with the idea for “Flippy,” a soft, three-sided stand that can hold a tablet at different angles. Fassett and her husband created the design, built a prototype and got a patent.
