Beers from Fort George Brewery, Breakside Brewery, pFriem Family Brewers and Crux Fermentation Project all land in the final Foamy 4 showdown.
PORTLAND, Ore. — It turns out that being a No. 1 seed — the four largest craft breweries in the state — didn’t necessarily endear their beers any more to Oregon Beer Showdown voters.
The sweet (or malty) spot, seems to be the next few rungs down, as the semifinals’ “Foamy 4” include two No. 3 seeds — Fort George Brewery vs. Breakside Brewery — and a No. 2 and a No. 4 seed — pFriem Family Brewers vs. Crux Fermentation Project.
