Mayor Wilson mandates full return to in-person work in April for city managers, supervisors

The change applies to around 700 managers and supervisors who currently work hybrid or remotely.

PORTLAND, Ore. — City of Portland managers and supervisors will be required to return to in-person work full-time beginning in April.

Portland Mayor Keith Wilson made the announcement Tuesday morning. The change applies to around 700 managers and supervisors who currently work hybrid or remotely. In a letter addressed to those employees, Wilson said that they “set the tone and culture for staff across our City.”
