Downtown Portland bounces back after holiday season

Last year’s holiday season events in downtown dazzled more residents than last year, said the city’s economic development agency.

PORTLAND, Oregon — Downtown Portland saw “substantial” attendance increases this holiday season, with a slew of old and new events convincing more people to come out, in comparison to last year. 

This past weekend, the Portland Winter Lights Festival wrapped up its tenth year, dazzling residents with light installations all over the city. The biggest displays were in downtown Portland, with thousands showing up to check them out over the past two weeks. 

All in all, it capped off a pretty good holiday season
