The discount retailer has been steadily adding to its updated store closing list after filing for bankruptcy.
WASHINGTON — Big Lots is planning to close another 150 stores nationwide, the discount retailer revealed in recent filings as part of its Chapter 11 bankruptcy process.
The latest round would bring the total number of planned and completed closures to nearly 500.
In the most recent Oct. 4 filing, the Columbus, Ohio-based company identified 46 locations it plans to close across 23 states. That followed a Sept. 27 filing that listed 58 closing stores and a Sept. 20 filing that had 49 more.
