SEATTLE — Passengers of Alaska Airlines flight 1282, which suffered a door plug blowout in January, received a letter from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), stating they could be “a possible victim of a crime,” according to the letter.
Earlier this month, the Department of Justice launched a criminal investigation into the Boeing 737 MAX 9 blowout, which occurred minutes after the plane took off from Portland, Oregon. There were no serious injuries as a result of the incident, but several passengers are suing both
